Simon Lee

Simon Lee (MBus, PCC, CSFC, AC Accred) is Managing Partner of Brief Academy. He is one of Asia’s pioneer Executive Coaches and Appreciative Inquiry Consultants, specializing in leadership development and strength-based change. He has over 25 years of business management experience with P&L responsibilities including sales, customer service, product management and quality control.

Simon's extensive and broad-based corporate experience spreads across the Information Technology, Telecommunications, Manufacturing, Storage and Professional Services Industries. Simon has presented internationally and across many cultures having done work in Japan, Thailand, China, South Korea, Malaysia, Canada, Myanmar, Vietnam, Indonesia and Egypt.

He has trained more than 3,000 managers and senior leaders on strength-based approaches and is a Mentor Coach to aspiring internal Corporate Coaches.

Simon is the first Certified Solution Focused Coach in Asia, accredited by the Canadian Council of Professional Certification. He is also a Professional Certified Coach credentialed by the International Coach Federation, USA and an Association for Coaching, UK Accredited Coach.

Edwin Tan

Edwin Tan (MSSc, CSFT, ACTA) is Managing Partner of Brief Academy. He has over 12 years of experience working with families, couples, and adolescents. He is a passionate and dynamic trainer whose expertise ranges from conducting academic courses to personal development programmes for adult learners. He has taught a wide range of courses at government and private organisations, primary, secondary and tertiary institutions.

Edwin uses metaphors and stories extensively to make his workshops interesting and practical for his clients. He is often described as an enthusiastic facilitator and many participants have found his workshops to be interesting and fun. He is appointed as a Registered Supervisor of the Post-Graduate Diploma in Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Associate Examiner for the Canadian Council of Professional Certification.

Alex Tan

Alex Tan (BBA [Finance], CSFC) is Managing Partner of Brief Academy. He has spent the last 10 years specializing in talent assessment, performance and development. His forte is in the area of Assessment and Learning & Development methodologies where he specializes in developing and implementing customized solutions to drive organizational performance and talent development.

Part of his consulting engagements include helping organizations to develop their Customized Training Program Design, Behavior Change Intervention Methodologies and Sustainable Intervention Methodologies. He is an accomplished trainer cum facilitator, coach and is skilled in multiple psychometric assessments tools such as Personality Plus, DISC, Extended DISC, EQ-I, VIA Character Strengths Analysis and Harrison Assessments Talent Solutions. He is a Certified Solution Focused Coach with the Canadian Council of Professional Certification (CCPC Global).

Victor Huynh

Victor Huynh (BBus, Human Resource, Dip. Applied Psychology) is Managing Partner of Brief Academy. He has been involved in both business and psychology realms and has done work in Positive Psychology and the use of human strengths, optimism and competencies to improve job performances and life satisfaction of individuals and organizations.

He is well versed in using VIA Character Strength Analysis to provide meaningful coaching experience. He is experienced in Education and Corporate environment. Some of his top strengths are: love of learning, humor, curiosity and leadership.

Su Chzeng Ong

Su Chzeng Ong (M Edn, BA, CSFC, ACC) coaches senior executives on ownership, accountability and empowerment, in the belief that everyone can outperform their own previous benchmarks. She helps her clients to reframe their challenges, identify what is limiting their greater success and to take action to achieve observable changes in their behaviour.

Su-chzeng has many years of experience in diverse corporate and cross-cultural environments, having lived for more than a decade each in London, in Tokyo and in Singapore, in addition to her early years in Malaysia. She has held various business leadership roles at senior management level, including director and vice president, variously at JPMorgan Chase Bank, Jardine Fleming Asia, Robert Fleming London, Collins and Macmillan Publishers, UK. She also has knowledge of a broad spectrum of industries especially gained from managing and publishing financial and educational research.

She has a Masters in Education from Sheffield University, UK, and a BA in English Literature, as well as professional certificates in corporate and personal coaching from CCPC Global (Canada), Corporate Coach University, USA, and other coach training organizations. She is an adjunct leadership coach for the Centre for Creative Leadership, Marshall Goldsmith Partners and a founding committee member of the International Coach Federation in Singapore.

Laurence Ho

Laurence Ho is a registered Psychologist & Counsellor in Singapore. He has been in the social service sector for the last 13 years, working with different clientele groups. He has been applying the solution-focused methodology in working with his clients, particularly in a community-based agency before he went into private practice. Laurence has been sharing and teaching the solution focused ideas to fellow professionals over the last couple of years and is an approved supervisor for the certification of solution focused brief therapy by the Canadian Council of Professional Certification.

He has a Masters degree in Applied Psychology from the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) as well as a Graduate Diploma in Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) from Milwaukee, U.S.A. He is an approved Clinical Supervisor under the Singapore Association for Counselling and Accredited administrator of several psychological instruments such as the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and the Taylor-Johnson Temperament Analysis.

Adam Lim

Adam Lim (BSc, GDTD, CSFP) is Managing Partner of Brief Academy. He has over 10 years of Learning & Development experience in Singapore's Public Sector and Asia Pacific Regional Roles in Global MNC.

Adam is Determined, Passionate and Enthusiastic in making a difference to one's personal growth. Adam always believes that having Forward-Looking Conversation, Amplifying Strength and Taking Positive Actions are essential to creating Long Lasting Success.

Adam is an experienced Consultant and HR Specialist driving Sales Transformation, Leadership and Management, Professional Skills programs in Global Technology companies.

Adam also spearheaded the implementation of active learning methodology in Air Force School. An experienced facilitator, he is skillful in integrating individual learners’ traits to enhance team performance. As a coach, he is instrumental in developing hundreds of RSAF professionals who came under his care, adopting the Solution Focused Facilitation and Coaching.
